Vivo has announced a new addition to its gaming arsenal today – the phone called iQOO U3X 5G. This is the initial launch which makes it restricted to China only, Vivo might launch it in other countries later, the device comes with Snapdragon 480 chipset, dual cameras and a big 5000mAh battery with 18W fast charging which supports gaming perfectly.

The current specifications of the device are almost similar to the Vivo Y31s this is because iQOO U3X is a rebranded. It comes with the very same 6.58” LCD with Full HD+ resolution and 90 Hz refresh rate. The dual-cam setup on the back consists of a 13 MP main + 2 MP depth combo, while the front-facing cam is 8 MP with fixed focus and an f/2.0 aperture.

As for gaming device, Vivo dropped the Funtouch OS 10.5 and equipped the phone with its latest Origin OS that also has Multi-Turbo 5.0 – software that gets the max capacity of the hardware in order for games to run smoothly.

There’s even the so-called “Memory Fusion”, in which if the 8 GB RAM is not enough, the phone uses 3 GB extra from the storage to dump some of the data, essentially making the phone perform like a device with 11 GB RAM.

Now talking about the memory, Vivo offers iQOO U3X 5G in three variants – 4GB/128 GB, 6GB/64 GB, 8GB/128 GB. It can be purchased on Chinese JD.com and through the company website in Magic Blue or Elegant Gray, with prices starting CNY1,199 which roughly translates to ($185/€155).
