WhatsApp Becomes Most Used Video Call App In Six Months

More than 340 million minutes per day which accounts for 55 million video calls have been made by 1.2 billion WhatsApp users as per the WhatsApp Company. In just six months WhatsApp video calling feature has made its mark.

YES! WhatsApp has become the most popular video calling App even though the feature of video calling was added just last November in WhatsApp.

Skype, Viber, Messenger were far more established video calling apps compared to WhatsApp, but WhatsApp has beaten them all.

When we look in to it more deeply we can find the reasons of it. WhatsApp Video Calling feature is mostly used from phone to phone video calling while Skype was a more computer to computer application that after a while was used in phones as well. As compared to Viber, surprisingly WhatsApp offers better voice quality and clarity.
