WhatsApp Is Soon Bringing Out Another Feature

WhatsApp is bringing a new feature to several tablets. Apparently, iPads are the first ones to get this update. This update is all about connecting devices.

WhatsApp 2.0, which was testing several features, is now soon coming out. With this update, users can connect their iPad with their iPhones using the messaging app.

Interestingly, this rollout is not only for iOS devices. Android devices will also taste this treat. According to Giz China, “Facebook is readying the launch of multi-device support for up to four devices and one smartphone.”

WhatsApp also rolled out a statement, saying:

MULTI-DEVICE MEANS THAT USERS WILL HAVE THE SAME FUNCTIONALITY THAT IS AVAILABLE ON THE CURRENT PUBLIC VERSIONS OF WHATSAPP WEB, DESKTOP AND PORTAL, JUST WITHOUT THE NEED TO HAVE YOUR PHONE CONNECTED. OUR MULTI-DEVICE CAPABILITY IMMEDIATELY MAKES THE EXPERIENCE BETTER FOR PEOPLE WHO USE DESKTOP/WEB AND PORTAL. AND IT ALSO WILL MAKE IT POSSIBLE TO ADD SUPPORT FOR MORE KINDS OF DEVICES OVER TIME.
