WhatsApp ensures that it will not change anything with end-to-end encryption. And says that everything users share, “stays between you”.
After much has been said by users and done by the social networking app, WhatsApp ensures that it will not change anything with end-to-end encryption.
WhatsApp took this on Twitter and said:
This came out when WhatsApp users worldwide started switching to different platforms, including Signal and Telegram.
WhatsApp does not want its users to go away, users also do not want to switch away from this single app. However, if the company does breach users’ privacy, users will start stepping away.
Previously, the company also announced that it has delayed proceeding with its updated privacy policy until May’21.
It also said in a statement:
We are committed to your privacy,
WhatsApp doesn’t share your contacts with Facebook”, “WhatsApp can’t see your shared location”, and “WhatsApp can’t read or listen to your personal conversations as they’re end-to-end encrypted
