New features and bug fixes for Windows Terminal
Microsoft recently released two new updates for its Windows Terminal command line tool. Version 1.22.2702.0 is available for users of the preview version, while users of the stable channel can access version 1.21.2701.0.
The current versions mainly focus on bug fixes and minor improvements. Microsoft has temporarily paused the rollout of stable version 1.21.2701.0. Important changes in both versions
Key changes in both versions include a fix for an issue with the Alt+Numberpad-Plus keyboard shortcut. This is no longer ignored if EnableHexNumpad is not activated in the registry. This allows users to force the terminal to accept English input even if they normally type in another language.
