With the Galaxy S24, Samsung hopes to sell more than 35 million units

The South Korean conglomerate was quite successful with the Galaxy S23 series. The Galaxy S23 Ultra, the top model of the series, was the sixth-best-selling smartphone in the world for several quarters. Reportedly, the series as a whole crossed the 25 million sales mark. The company hopes to achieve more with the upcoming Galaxy S24 series.

Galaxy S24 sales might mark 35 million sales

By the end of 2024, the company hopes to ship around 35.2 million units of the Galaxy S24 series, in accordance with TheElec report. The company anticipates that the Galaxy S24 will account for 13.5 million units and the Galaxy S24+ might reach 5.8 million units. The Galaxy S24 Ultra, on the other hand, is expected to generate more sales as compared to the other members of the series, with 15.9 million units.

Reportedly, Samsung Electronics and Samsung Electro-Mechanics will supply the 200MP main camera for the Galaxy S24 Ultra. However, Namuga and Sunny Optical will be providing the other two camera units i.e., 12MP ultrawide and 10MP telephoto camera lenses. The housing and lens for the 50MP telephoto camera may be provided by Sunny Optical and Samsung Electro-Mechanics. The 12MP selfie camera module can be provided by Namuga and MCNEX.

For most markets, we can expect the Exynos 2400-powered Galaxy S24 and the Galaxy S24+. However, some markets will get the Snapdragon version. The Ultra variant, on the other hand, will be powered by the overclocked version of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 For Galaxy, which has high CPU and GPU clock speeds. All members of the series are reported to feature brighter screens.
