With WhatsApp’s new wallpaper feature, users could now set backgrounds for every different chat.
The Facebook-owned company, WhatsApp recently said:
Sent chats meant for Pat to Kat? And chats meant for Kat to Nat? We’ve all gone through such mix-ups,
In addition to this, the social networking app also warned users that if they don’t accept its updated terms and conditions by May 15, they wouldn’t be able to use the app.
According to the source, those not accepting the new terms of the app would have their accounts listed as “inactive”, and they would be deleted after 120 days.
However, the app would allow such users to avail themselves of the call and notifications functions for a short period after the deadline passes.
It is pertinent to recall that WhatsApp recently announced that it has the right to share user’s data with its parent company which is Facebook.
In response to this, users worldwide started switching to other apps such as Telegram and Signal.
However, the company later cleared the air that it cannot read or listen to a user’s chat; the update was only aiming to enable payments to other businesses.
