Wreckfest 2 has been officially announced
Wreckfest is getting a successor: THQ Nordic and the studio Bugbear Entertainment have jointly announced the racing game sequel, which will soon be released for PC and console. First impressions can be seen in the trailer.
Compared to its predecessor, released in 2018, Wreckfest 2 offers an improved physics engine to display body damage in even more detail and more realistically. And there are plenty of these, because the developers of Wreckfest and FlatOut are once again promising tough full-contact races that are not always strictly rule-based.
Play alone or with friends
In addition to the story mode, players can also take part in time-limited events, compete in online races with drivers from all over the world, or challenge friends in local split-screen mode. All vehicles are customizable, and the customization tool has been completely redesigned.
Creative designs can then also be shared online. On PC, the game also offers mod support via the Steam Workshop. Wreckfest 2 is due to be released soon for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S, but there is no exact release date yet.
