Xbox: Microsoft brings Deadpool controller with buttocks

Of course, the controller is mainly a marketing gimmick with which the Redmond company is profiting from the hype surrounding the new film Deadpool & Wolverine, which will soon be released in Germany. To match this, the controller has been given two buttocks, which are officially supposed to be based on the backside of the anti-superhero Deadpool. Technically, the Deadpool controller with its special design does not stand out from a normal wireless Xbox controller. The device, which is called the “Cheeky Controller”, is said to be shaped like Deadpool’s “much-discussed, perfectly round” backside. Deadpool’s steel buttocks offer a firm yet surprisingly comfortable grip on the controller.
As is often the case, the controller will only be given away to participants in a new competition, in which fans worldwide can take part if they follow the official Xbox account on X/Twitter and post the competition tweet on their profile. However, there is another prize to be won as part of the promotion.
Microsoft is also giving away a package of an Xbox Series X with a Deadpool design, which includes two foam replicas of the film hero’s two katana swords and two Xbox controllers. In addition, the first 1,000 customers who order an Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2 from the Microsoft Store on July 22, 2024 can receive a special stand in the Deadpool design for free.
