Xiaomi 12 might come in 2022 with a triple rear camera setup having 50MP sensors
Xiaomi is seemingly working on a new device that is tipped to be called the Xiaomi 12. Some tipsters suggested that this device may come this year, others are of the view it would come in 2022.
According to rumors, the Xiaomi 12 will feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 898 SoC. This device will have an AMOLED LTPO-display E5 from Samsung, a resolution of 2K, and a refresh rate of 120 Hz.
Camera-wise, this smartphone will have a triple rear camera with a similar resolution – 50MP. The main sensor will be a Samsung ISOCELL GN5, paired with the ultra-wide Sony IMX766. The telephoto lens will have 5x optical zoom.
We also heard that the Xiaomi 12 will have an LPDDR5 RAM that will boost speed to 8533 Mbit/s. The flash drive on this device will be of the UFS 3.1 standard. The whole unit will be powered by a 5000 mAh battery with wired charging support of 120W.
This device will also feature IP68 water protection and support for 50W wireless charging. The device will run Android 12 with MIUI 13 out of the box.
