After unveiling the Xiaomi 12X in its homeland, Xiaomi is planning to release the same in other countries, including India. The Xiaomi 12 series consists of three models – Xiaomi 12X, Xiaomi 12 Pro, and Xiaomi 12.
The 12X is the most affordable smartphone of the three. It features a 6.28-inch AMOLED display with an FHD+ (2,400 x 1,080 pixels) resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, a brightness of up to 1100 nits, and carries HDR10+ certification.
Under the hood, the device is equipped with a powerful octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 processor. with either 8GB RAM+128GB internal storage or 8GB RAM+256GB internal storage. The device will run Android 12 out of the box with the latest MIUI 13 on top.
Though we aren’t certain of the prices, we have a hunch that the device will cost users around INR 40,000 in the country. According to sources, the Xiaomi 12X in India will be available in three color options – gray, blue, and purple.
Coming to its optics side, we will get a triple-rear camera setup with a 50MP primary camera, a 13MP ultra-wide angle sensor, and a 5MP telemacro lens. At its front, we will get a 32MP selfie camera.
The whole unit will get its power from a 4,500mAh battery with 67W fast charging support.
The release date of this Xiaomi smartphone is still unknown but signs are giving us hints that it will soon come to India.
