Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 May Come Along the Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra, Mi 11 Lite, Mi Band 6
Xiaomi may launch the Mi Pad 5 along with Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra, Mi 11 Lite, and Mi Band 6 on March 29th.
Xiaomi is actively contributing to the world of smart devices. The company is holding a spring new product launch conference on March 29th, where the company intends to launch Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra, Mi 11 Lite, Mi Band 6, Notebook Pro and Mi Pad 5.
Earlier, Lei Jun and other Xiaomi executives also announced that the company would be launching the new Xiaomi Mi MIX 4 and Xiaomi tablet products this year.
Talking about the Xiaomi Mi Pad 5, rumours say that the company will increase its display size by going from 8″ to about 11″. If this stands correct, then this device would be directly competing with the iPad (size-wise).
According to another leak, the Mi Pad 5 would support a high screen refresh rate with a 10.95″ 2K resolution display with a 144Hz refresh rate. Besides, it will have a side fingerprint solution as well as an LCD screen.
The device will come with a dual rear camera setup having a 20MP + 13MP camera system.
It was also predicted that the pad would come with the Snapdragon 870 SoC under the hood and have a special MIUI system. The device will be about 8.13mm thick and weighs about 510g.
The Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 is coming after almost 3 years since the Mi Pad 4 Plus (2018).
Not much information about the tablet is available now, but this is a delightful matter for those in love with Xiaomi’s smart devices. The company tends to capture the rising demand for smart devices, especially after the COVID-19 pandemic. It still would take a while to compete with Samsung and Apple, who have been in the battle for a long time.
