Xiaomi Releases Air 2 Pro True Wireless Headphones For $99
Xiaomi’s first true wireless active noise reduction headset, Xiaomi true wireless Bluetooth headset Air 2 Pro has been released officially.
Xiaomi True Wireless Bluetooth Headset Air 2 Pro provides a wide-band noise reduction effect of 100-3000Hz, covering low-frequency to high-frequency noise.
Through the feed-forward and feedback dual microphones, it has an active noise reduction depth of up to 35dB. It can be used as a noise-blocking effect on airplanes, subways, streets, cafes, or other places. At the same time, with high-frequency noise of 1000-3000Hz, such as crying, decoration, and roar, the large cavity design can also play a passive noise reduction effect.
Aiming at the needs of outdoor calls, Xiaomi True Wireless Bluetooth Headset Air 2 Pro has added a three-microphone call noise reduction function. Adding an independent microphone in the ear can capture the pure voice in the mouth, and communicate clearly in noisy calls outdoors. It also supports transparent mode, allowing users to communicate freely while wearing headphones. After the transparent mode is turned on, the ambient sound can be heard without taking off the headset.
In terms of sound quality, the Xiaomi True Wireless Bluetooth Headset Air 2 Pro uses an LCP liquid crystal composite diaphragm and a 12mm large-size dynamic coil, which can form a more solid expression and a mellow and long-term sound. According to Xiaomi, this headset is tuned by Luca Bignardi, a world-class musician who has won 4 Grammy Awards, to bring a better listening experience.
Xiaomi True Wireless Bluetooth Headset Air 2 Pro can also quickly connect to the phone pop-up window. When connecting for the first time, open the earphone box near the phone and the phone will automatically pop up the connection interface for quick pairing. After each time the box is opened, the phone will automatically pop up the window and complete the Bluetooth pairing and connection, and the power of the headset and charging box will be displayed in the pop-up window.
Xiaomi True Wireless Bluetooth Headset Air 2 Pro also supports voice control by Xiao Ai. When the user needs to cut the song by voice, increase the volume, query the route, set the alarm clock, or make a call, he only needs to tap the left earphone twice or say the wake-up word “Xiao Ai” to avoid taking out the phone to issue the corresponding Instructions.
Xiaomi True Wireless Bluetooth Headset Air 2 Pro uses ceramic touch keys. By tapping and long-pressing the ceramic back cover of the headset, you can make calls, switch noise reduction modes, play/pause audio, and wake up Xiao Ai. With the infrared sensor, the headset will automatically pause when it is removed, and it will continue to play when worn again.
In response to the needs of different wearers, Xiaomi True Wireless Bluetooth Headset Air 2 Pro also provides four types of silicone earmuffs.
In terms of battery life, when the noise reduction is turned off, the headset can last up to 7 hours in a single time, and up to 28 hours when used with the charging box. In addition, the headset and the charging box both support wired fast charging, charging for 10 minutes can continue to listen to songs for about 90 minutes, and 1 hour to fully charge. The charging box also supports the Qi wireless charging standard and is compatible with charging for multiple devices. The Xiaomi true wireless Bluetooth headset Air 2 Pro is officially priced at 699 yuan which is roughly $98 or $99. It will be pre-sale in all channels at 10 am on October 13th.
