Xiaomi was in the process of releasing the MIUI 12.5 beta version to some devices. This phase wasn’t over that we hear the company is rolling its stable update. As usual, this update would go in portions.
According to Xiaomi, the devices receiving the stable version include Mi 11 Ultra, Mi 11 Pro, Mi 11, Mi 10 Ultra, Mi 10 Pro, Mi 10, and Mi 9 SE.
We don’t know where this rollout would first start from. But we know that OTA updates gradually roll out, which means all the devices mentioned above won’t get the update in one go. If you own any of the above-mentioned smartphones, you could manually check for the update by heading to Settings – My Device – About this phone.
According to our source, Xiaomi released the MIUI 12.5 system after launching the Xiaomi Mi 11 in December 2020. This system brings MIUI+, where users can view mobile notifications on their PCs and copy the text on the mobile phone and paste it directly on the computer. Then, users can also copy a screenshot on their smartphones and paste it directly on their computers.
