Xiaomi to launch Xiaomi Play on December 24

Xiaomi is all set to launch Xiaomi Play on December 24 the company confirms it via its Weibo account teasers.

The smartphone Xiaomi Play has already appeared on TENAA for technicalspecifications list, the company has shared posters of new smartphoneofficially on Weibo account letting people know that its ready to launch onDecember 24 just before Christmas.

The new mobile phone comes with waterdrop notch and the rear panel seems to be a glasspanel. However, it is not entirely clear whether it is a glass panel of sleekplastic/metal finish.

The phone also features dual rear camera vertically aligned along with rear fingerprint sensor. The Teaser also indicates that the phone is targeting youth. According to the listing on TENAA the handset Xiaomi Play could be launched in various colors as many as 10 color variants including Black, White, Gold, Silver, Rose, Blue, Gray, Pink, Red, and Green.

The phone features 5.84-inch FHD+ display with waterdrop notch. Under the hood, you will have 2.3GHz Octa-core processor which supports 6GB RAM. The phone will belaunched in three storage options including 32GB base model, 64GB and 128GB.Users can also extend the storage with microSD card.

The dual rear camera is equipped with a 12MP primary camera and the front selfie shooter would give you 8MP. The battery capacity is not as expected however, it will be enough for some users 2900mAh.Xiaomi Play runs on Android 8.1 Oreo out of thebox, the phone is not priced yet in the advertisements but it will be targetinga budget market for sure.
