Xiaomi unveils roadmap for Android 15 rollout

The Chinese manufacturer Xiaomi officially presented its new HyperOS 2.0, but at the time only gave a schedule for China. Xiaomi has now presented its international roadmap for the introduction of HyperOS 2 based on Android 15.

Current devices already in November

In some cases, the first devices will receive the upgrade to Android 15 in the form of HyperOS 2 as early as November. The first models are of course the latest, with the Xiaomi 14T and 14T Pro scheduled to be updated in November. The Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Ultra from spring will also be supplied this month, as will the Xiaomi 13T Pro.

Before the end of the month, the models of the Redmi Note 13 series, the models of the Poco X6 and F6 and M6 series as well as the Xiaomi Mix Flip will also receive the update to HyperOS 2. In a few cases, certain models of the product series mentioned will not be served until December, as can be seen from the graphics published by Xiaomi.

Older devices from December

In December, Xiaomi’s model series from previous years will be supplied with HyperOS 2 and Android 15, so the Xiaomi 11, 12 and 13 series and the Xiaomi 12T and 12T Pro will also be available. There are also some Redmi and Redmi Note models as well as some older Poco smartphones.

Depending on the price category, some quite young but inexpensive models such as the recently launched Poco C75 are supplied with the latest Android version – just later than the more expensive devices. The lion’s share of its tablets, which are to be supplied with Android 15/HyperOS 2, will not receive the upgrade until December 2024.

Only the Xiaomi Pad 6S Pro 12.4 will be updated in November. An overview of all updates announced by Xiaomi for the numerous devices from the Chinese smartphone manufacturer and its subsidiary brands can be found a social media post on the company’s official account remove.
