You may now snap in-app images and save drafts with the most recent experimental features of Threads

As some of the “most requested” features for the social network, Instagram CEO Adam Mosseri says Meta is now testing a few capabilities for Threads. The ability to store drafts is one of these test features. Swiping down on the display of their mobile device will make it simple for users to save a post they’ve composed as a draft, which they may revise and publish later. The post icon is highlighted in the app’s bottom menu when there is a draft saved. They can only store one draft at this time, and it’s not clear if Meta intends to allow users to save more.

Meta is also trying an in-app camera in addition to drafting. Users can now more quickly share images and videos from their phones by opening the camera on their phone directly from within Threads. Mark Zuckerberg, the CEO of Meta, shared a picture on the platform that he claims was taken with the new in-app camera the firm is testing.

According to Meta, these are just beta tests for the experimental features, so there’s a good chance they’ll go through a lot of adjustments before being made widely available. Meta has also begun testing a bookmarking tool for Threads that enables users to save posts for later use throughout the course of the last month. Additionally, the business is experimenting with its own take on popular topics on Threads, along with the feature that’ll allow you to cross-post between Threads and Facebook.
