You may soon be able to copy and save video frames using Google Chrome for Android

The desktop version of Google Chrome allows users to copy and paste a video frame on a Mac or Windows device. It is quite a convenient approach for users since they can use them for several purposes like sharing with others or using them in a project.

If you are wondering how this works, then don’t worry. It is quite simple. Simple right-click on a video and then select the ‘Copy video frame’ or ‘Save video frame as’ options. According to some recent pieces of information, the company is working to introduce the same feature on another platform i.e., Android.

According to @Leopeva64, the Android version of Google Chrome will soon receive the ability to save or copy video frames. The options ‘Copy video frame’ or ‘Save video frame as’ will appear once this feature rolls out for Android. These options will appear when a video is long-pressed. In this way, users could copy or save frame from a video. The information was shared on X/Twitter. Google notes in a commit note that the feature should be tagged inactive until the corporation approves it.

It is possible that the feature might arrive to the beta version of the web browser in the next few weeks. It might arrive to the general public in the coming months once thorough testing is done. It will act as a quick and robust approach for several users. It has the potential to become the most famous features of the web browser. It is our hope that Microsoft and Samsung will begin to develop this feature for the Edge and Samsung Internet browsers.
