Your Tickets and boarding cards will now be automatically added to Google Wallet
The Google Wallet app for Wear OS was designed to take the place of the smartphone app in terms of functionality, enabling contactless payments and quicker access to locations that need access cards. Getting all of your passes in one location is now even easier thanks to a Google Wallet upgrade. Movie tickets and boarding passes will now appear automatically after purchase, according to Google’s release notes for Wallet this week, which Android reporter Mishaal Rahman noticed. This is provided, of course, that the user’s Gmail inbox has received the confirmation email. Although Google claims that the service is active for “some” users and that more should be added soon, it might not currently function for every movie theater chain or airline.
Google has been gradually improving Wallet to make it more helpful. In order to provide Android smartwatch users with convenient access to their tickets right from their wrist, the business last month extended Wallet passes to WearOS. This covers loyalty cards, gym memberships, boarding passes, event tickets, and more. Google has also included the ability for customers to manually archive the majority of their passes from their smartphone or smartwatch, according to the most recent release notes. If a user makes a mistake or has to consult an earlier pass, they can reverse the action by going to the Archived Passes section.
