ZTE Axon 30 is the First to Feature an Under-display Camera with a High Pixel Density of 400 PPI

ZTE has officially introduced its under-display camera, Axon 30. It is the only phone with this feature. This under-display camera comes with a high pixel density of 400 PPI (pixel per inch).

In addition to this, with this phone, you would get “an independent display chip to further increase the display’s accuracy and synchronization with the front camera.”

Specifications-wise, the Axon 30 is featuring a 6.9-inch AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and 360Hz touch sampling rate. This device can also “effectively reduce blue light radiation, protect eyesight, and support DC dimming to reduce strain on the eyes caused by screen flicker.”

Under the hood, we get the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870G chipset featuring a “1+3+4” octa-core design and “a maximum core frequency of 3.2GHz.”

The rear side has a triple-camera setup with a 64MP Sony IMX682 main sensor, an 8MP ultrawide camera, a 5MP macro shooter, and a depth lens.

The whole unit is powered by a 4,200 mAh battery with 55W fast-charging support. The ZTE Axon 30 also has a large VC liquid cooling plate, thermal gel, and graphene copper-based composite material.

The device will be available in China from August 3 for as low as $340. The most expensive model is 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage and would cost you $475.
