Zuckerberg orders Facebook management team to only use Android mobile devices

The management team of social media platform Facebook has been ordered by the CEO Mark Zuckerberg to only use Android phones.

As per the report by The New York Times, Mark took this decision after the MSNBC interview in which the Apple CEO Tim Cook has criticized Facebook for being a platform that traffics “in your personal life.”

In the reference of those comments about Facebook back in March, Apple CEO Cook dismissed a question asking him that what he would do if he were in Mark Zuckerberg’s shoes dealing with the fallout from the Cambridge Analytica scandal by saying, “I wouldn’t be in this situation.”

Mark Zuckerberg later answered to those comments by Apple CEO and said; “He found Cook’s comments to be ‘extremely glib’. It is important that we don’t all get Stockholm syndrome and let the companies that work hard to change you more convince you that they actually care more about you. Because that sounds ridiculous to me.”

It is to be mentioned here that it’s not clear how Apple CEO’s comments about Facebook provoked Zuckerberg into issuing his orders to use only Android mobile devices, it is still a rational decision to urge Americans to use Android devices.

Android is a dominant operating system not only in the US but in many other regions outside the United States, including Europe, South America, South Asia, Russia, and different parts of the Middle East.
