As previously mentioned, malware is present everywhere. Many times they are undetectable and can enter the device even following all the security rules to install applications as in the PlayStore. In the Apple store (App Store), there is a group of 17 iPhone applications that were tested for malware behavior. They were identified and published by a security company for user safety.
In the case of Google applications, we have already reviewed how the modus operandi of malicious files is. They enter the Play Store being a legitimate program that does not attack the security of anything. Once they earned the place in the Google virtual store, the company did not check for updates and that was where the malicious files came from. So something similar is happening at Apple and 17 infected iPhone applications were detected.
The Digital Trends informed that the applications were removed immediately and we recommend that if you have them on your iPhone, proceed to uninstall. Most of these programs exhibited a Trojan virus and malware behavior. The latter is known to generate clicks through advertisements without user interaction. In other words, it generates many clicks and this gives income to the different portals chosen for these fraudulent tasks.
