Microsoft plans to release the Xbox Series X25 this fall. The company announced the limited special edition at the Xbox Games Showcase in June to celebrate the console brand’s 25th anniversary. So far, the manufacturer has held back on details about its sales plans. Now concrete information about the market launch has emerged. Costs and equipment

Like the French magazine Dealabs reported, the price in Europe is 899.99 euros. For the US market, the publication estimates the cost at $899.99. If the European prices are confirmed, this will mean a surcharge of 100 euros compared to the regular Xbox Series The standard model has since cost 799.99 euros.

One advantage of the special edition is the included input device. Buyers receive the Xbox Wireless Controller X25 Special Edition, which is visually adapted to the console. The accessories take up the color accents of the console and offer the usual functions of the current generation.

Technology remains unchanged

Technically, the special model offers no innovations. The well-known current generation hardware works inside. The price is justified (or not) solely by the exclusive design. The special edition case is made of semi-transparent green plastic in the style of the first console from 2001. There is an illuminated logo on the front. The device also has an integrated optical drive for physical storage media and a built-in SSD with a capacity of one terabyte.
