97% Of AJK Has Been Equipped With Latest Technological Facilities

Special Communications Organization has equipped over 97% area of Azad Jammu & Kashmir with modern and current technological amenities. SCO celebrated its 41st Founding Anniversary by hosting a huge dinner. Afnan the speaker talked about the steps that are taken by SCO for providing best telecom facilities in AJK and Gilgit-Baltistan

In the ceremony, the 41st-anniversary cake was cut by SCO Commanding Officer Syed Ayad Hassan. Ayad spoke on the occasion and highlighted the achievements of SCO since it started its operations in 1976. Talking about telecom services in AJK, Ayad said that a lot has been done and is going on to connect AJK with the world. 3G and 4G services have started operating in the province.  Free internet services have been provided in Mirpur and other parts of AJK as well. He said that the aim of their organization is to provide people in AJK with all the latest technologies that the rest of the world enjoys and to ensure that their country falls in the developed nation’s rank.

Many known figures from various sectors attended the ceremony along with local administration and senior officials. Cash awards were also given on the occasion to many civil and military workers on their brilliant performances as they served their duties in the telecom sector.
