Google Pixel 7 and 7 Pro Both Come with 128 or 256 GB of storage
If you prefer to use the cheaper version of Google’s new high-end smartphone series Pixel 7, you can at least get more memory in the future. Dealer information reveals that the Pixel 7 in the “small” edition now offers twice as much memory as before.
Although Google has already published a lot of information about the Pixel 7 and the big brother model, the Pixel 7 Pro, it is still reluctant to provide specific specifications. According to the retailer data we have, there is both good and bad news, at least when it comes to internal storage.
Basic model with double memory on request
First the good news: Google will offer the Pixel 7 in Europe with both 128 and 256 gigabytes of internal flash memory. Previously there was only a variant with 128 GB, so fans of the slightly cheaper and smaller new Google flagship at least get the option of purchasing a version with the doubled flash capacity to 256 GB.
At the same time, the retailer’s information also reveals that Google is still comparatively stingy when it comes to the internal memory of its flagship smartphones. The Google Pixel 7 Pro will only be available in the two memory configurations mentioned above – at least in retail stores. The Pro model also has 128 or 256 GB NAND flash on board. You won’t find any options with more memory like Apple or Samsung in the Pixel 7 series.
Of course, the MicroSD card slot is still missing, after all, Google would also like to encourage customers to use its cloud services. As far as the availability of the new devices is concerned, there could also be good news. If the information is reliable, the new model range could end up in retail outlets in Europe two weeks after the official launch on October 6th.
