Amazon Prime Video: All new films and series in July 2026
New month, new films and series. In July 2026, Amazon Prime Video will once again provide a lot of new content for its subscribers. Included are exclusive films like Nosferatu and original series like Ride or Die.
Summer cinema on Prime Video
While competitor Netflix wants to score points in July 2026 with in-house productions such as Enola Holmes 3 and Our Little Farm, Amazon Prime Video is also expanding its offering to include some exclusive films and series. Although a planned Stargate reboot was recently canceled, there is still a lot of new content waiting for subscribers next month.
Comedy with agents and sheep
With Ride or Die A new action comedy series about friends Debbie and Judith, played by Octavia Spencer and Hannah Waddingham, starts on July 20th. The two protagonists are on the run in Europe after Debbie learns that Judith is leading a secret double life as an international assassin. When a failed mission brings old enemies from Judith’s past to the fore, they both become involved in a chain of chases by secret services and crime syndicates. Amazon also provides exclusive material for the films. In Glennkill: A sheep crime thriller The shepherd George Hardy, played by Hugh Jackman, is murdered. While the police investigate, the talking flock begins to investigate the case on their own. As the story progresses, a conflict over land and heritage takes center stage. The bizarre story humorously combines classic murder investigations with the perspective of sheep, who only have a limited understanding of human events and draw their own conclusions from them.
