Samsung is Now Rolling Out the Android 12 One UI 4.0 Beta in India
Samsung is rolling out the Android 12 One UI 4.0 beta in India to the Galaxy S21 series.
Now that the Android 12 stable version is out there, smartphone makers are now prepping to roll out their relevant updates to several eligible devices. But prior to that, companies still have to release the beta versions to test how the new operating system will work for their devices. In regards to that, Samsung is currently rolling out the Android 12 One UI 4.0 beta program to the Galaxy S21 series in India.
The Galaxy S21 series include the Galaxy S21, S21+, and S21 Ultra. If you have any one of them and reside in India, you can head towards your device’s Settings, then Software Update, and finally Download and install to get the Android 12 One UI 4.0 beta version on your device.
The same version was previously available in Korea and Germany. We expect the same treatment for Indian users as for these two countries:
- Improve the input accuracy for Samsung Keyboard
- Add a microphone mode in video calls to let you select what kind of sounds are emphasized
- Fix a problem with closing when running Secure Folder
- Improve performance
- The new virtual RAM feature
Before you update the software, make sure to backup your phone’s data. Once you have the latest OS, the only way to go back to the previous OS is to factory reset your handset.
