A few high-quality Galaxy A55 renders have leaked

The Galaxy A55 is expected to be Samsung’s upcoming high-end mid-range phone. Many details regarding the impending phone have already been leaked, and they will probably not stop until the device is officially unveiled.

One such leak comes from the people at MySmartPrice, who have released 360-degree video and high-quality renders of the Galaxy A55, exposing the phone’s design from every angle. The A55 and Galaxy A54 have a striking number of similarities in terms of overall design.

However, there are some changes. The most notable is that it now has a flat frame, just like the Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S24+. Though nothing regarding that is revealed in today’s leak, there have been rumours that the Galaxy A55 and A35 may sport a metal frame.

The front of the phone appears to have smaller bezels than the Galaxy A54, but press photos and renders frequently distort devices’ bezels, so we won’t know for sure until we see the phone in person whether Samsung has improved the unattractive bezels on the Galaxy A54 with its follow-up.

Galaxy A55 will come in with an AMD GPU

Regarding hardware, the Galaxy A55 will be the first mid-range Samsung phone equipped with Xclipse GPUs from the firm, which are built on AMD’s RDNA2 architecture. The performance of the Exynos 1480 chip, which powers the A55, in actual testing is still unknown. The Galaxy A54’s implementation of the Exynos 1380 was mediocre; hopefully, Samsung has worked harder on the Exynos 1480 and the Galaxy A55.
