What will be the charging speed of Xiaom 14 Ultra?

The high-end Ultra model of the Xiaomi 14 series is expected to arrive at some point in Q2 2024. Although there is a lot of time before the official launch, we are getting details about the specs and features of the upcoming smartphone via leaks and renders.

Just recently, the tipster Digital Chat Station shared the details regarding the battery capacity of the upcoming Xiaomi 14 Ultra. He used the codename ‘Venti’ for the smartphone and asserted that it would feature a 5,180mAh battery. In addition, the tipster claims that the smartphone will support 90W wired and 50W wireless charging. In simple words, the Ultra model of the series will showcase similar charging speeds as the Xiaomi 14.

Xiaomi 14 Ultra could be charged in just thirty minutes

With support for 90W wired charging, the device can be fully charged in just half an hour. That’s definitely fast enough for most people, no doubt about it. The package will also include a charger. In April 2023, the Xiaomi 13 Ultra was launched. It suggests that the new Xiaomi 14 Ultra will be released at around the same time next year. However, there are chances that the smartphone might debut earlier.

The Xiaomi 14 Ultra will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3

Like the other two members of the series, the Ultra model will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC. It will include an improved camera setup along with Leica branding. Compared to the dual aperture, the Xiaomi 14 Ultra is rumored to feature a variable aperture. Currently, Huawei is using a 10-stop variable aperture in its smartphones.

The gadget is probably going to be somewhat different from the Xiaomi 14 and the Xiaomi 14 Pro. Since Xiaomi wants this phone to be unique, it’s possible that the camera module will be bigger.
