A new, more contemporary logo for Android is coming
Just recently, the tech company Google announced that Android would receive a new, modern, and more comprehensive logo. Interestingly, the company is introducing changes to the Android Robots as well. Therefore, it’s a major adjustment for the most popular mobile operating system in the world.
It will be the first time after 2019 that Google is changing the Android logo, given the fact that the last update was not that significant. The company claims that the new design includes some subtle changes. These changes more accurately connect Android to Google. For quite some time now, the company has adopted the lowercase symbol, i.e., “android.” It is now going to be replaced with a capital A. When positioned adjacent to the Google logo, it gives its appearance greater weight. As a matter of fact, the new Android stylization closely resembles the Google Logo and has more curves and personality.
The bugdroid is receiving new changes
Besides the Android logo, the company is also introducing some changes to its mascot, the bugdroid. It features more dimension and character. The new changes render it more dynamic and unique, like Android. It is now more round in shape. According to the company, the new changes, i.e., the updated logo as well as the 3D bugdroid will begin appearing on Android devices and other areas before the end of this year. Well, these are not quite massive updates for the logo and bugdroid, but perhaps they were the need of the hour. The new logo is simple and nice. It now more closely resembles Google.
