A new UI revamp on WhatsApp will make Channel updates stand out
As 2023 draws to a close, WhatsApp has had a busy year, particularly in terms of testing and releasing new features for its platform. Midway through 2023, WhatsApp debuted channels to its user base, gradually adding new capabilities to the platform. WhatsApp is introducing a revised channel user interface (UI) in a new beta update, which will make the channel updates stand out on WhatsApp.
Interestingly, posting channel messages as status updates is one of the new features that WABetaInfo noticed in the most recent WhatsApp beta v2.24.1.6 for Android. The WhatsApp Channel messages now have a button and a redesigned layout that draws attention to them and points users in the direction of the information source.

Instagram users may already be familiar with this new WhatsApp Channels user experience, since they are aware that the UI for sharing a post on Stories is similar. The content being shared will have more context thanks to the improved user interface. According to the source, the latest beta release not only addresses a UI fault but also modifies the WhatsApp Channels user interface. The issue that displayed a giant blue block on the bottom half of the screen was located near the attachment sheet, which obscured a portion of the discussion or the chat wallpaper. Fortunately, the current WhatsApp beta version has solved this glitch.
