WhatsApp has been developing several significant new features that will be added to the app. Some new dark theme-related functionality will also be added to the app’s web version. WhatsApp is seen developing yet another set of new features in the most recent app beta; these features have to do with the app’s design.

According to the most recent WABetaInfo leak, WhatsApp is developing a theme selector for the iOS app. Notably, users of WhatsApp may soon be able to select from five different accent colors. The most recent beta version of the WhatsApp iOS app displays code that will let users customize their style and add accent colors to specific areas of UI. This includes the buttons on the interface, the colors of the selected tabs at the bottom, the ring surrounding the status updates, and the message counts on the right side of the chat list.

Beta testers for iOS are presently able to access the sticker editor function on WhatsApp

The WhatsApp theme picker will be available in five colors: green, blue, off-white, pink, and purple. The WhatsApp iOS beta v24.1.10.70 was found to have a theme selector. A new sticker editor is included in the more recent WhatsApp beta for iOS v24.1.10.72, which is now being distributed to testers. As a result, using external sticker editors is no longer necessary.

The report states that users will be able to edit stickers by touching on the ones that already exist and utilizing the Edit Sticker button. Within the app, users can make their own stickers by selecting the “Create Your Own” button. Additionally, when making stickers, users will be able to take out the backdrop from photographs.

Keep in mind that some features are either being developed right now or are being made available to iOS beta testers. It may take some time before these functionalities become available to Android users.
