According to Bloomberg, Apple may raise the price of its iPhone 15 Pro models

According to a recent news shared by Bloomberg, the Cupertino-based tech firm is considering increasing the prices iPhone 15 series. Notably, the company will increase the price of the Pro models of its upcoming iPhone series. The news reports include references to unspecified sources.

In addition to this, the report claims that the company will increase its revenue via the price hike of the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max. where the overall smartphone market is observing slow growth right now. the demand for smartphones has been significantly impacted given the economic downturns.

Well, this is not merely the first time we have come across the information of a price increase in the iPhone 15 Pro models. Previously, in May 2023, we learned that the Pro models of the iPhone 15 series will feature some exclusive features like Dynamic Island and the 48MP camera. it now appears that the company wants to separate its Pro models from the non-Pro models based on their prices for the current fiscal year.

Back in March, Jeff Pu predicted the possible price increase that could be implemented with the iPhone 15 series. Jeff Pu is a tech analyst working at the Hong Kong-based investment firm Haitong International Securities. With starting prices of $999 and $1,099 for the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max, respectively, any price rise would bring both high-end iPhone models for the first time above the $1,000 mark.

The company is anticipated to unveil the iPhone 15 series in September this year. Some sources suggest that the Pro models could arrive with limited supplies. All four models of the series will feature curved frames, a USB-C port, and the Dynamic Island. In addition to this, a few features and modifications are exclusive to the Pro models. According to a report by Bloomberg, Apple is requesting suppliers to create about 85 million iPhone 15 units this year, nearly on par with the previous year.
