AirPods Max Are Not Waterproof Or Water Resistant Apple Confirms

The AirPods Max headphones are Apple’s first wireless over-ear headphones, they were recently launched on the market and are placed in the high-end segment. Along with so many outstanding features, there is a shortcoming that should be noted: they are neither waterproof nor water-resistant. Apple expressly indicates this information on an official support page which reads:

If you have AirPods (1st and 2nd generation), Charging Case, AirPods Max and Smart Case remember that they are not waterproof or water-resistant. So be careful not to let moisture enter the openings

It must be said that the AirPods Max headphones are certainly not the kind of product devoted to using in sports. The absence of waterproofing and water resistance, however, weighs less than products more suitable for this type of use. The AirPods Pro earphones, remember, are water-resistant but not waterproof. The AirPods Max focuses on other factors to justify the price of 629 euros: build quality, audio quality, and integration into the ecosystem of Apple devices.
