Huawei Opens Sales of Watch GT 7 Pro ahead of global launch

Huawei has officially launched the sale of the Watch GT 7 Pro in China, introducing its new flagship smartwatch to the market only a few days before the wearable is set to be launched in the international market.

The Pro model was launched earlier this month with the Nova 16 SE and a number of other high-end devices. The smartwatch introduces three additional sports modes that will offer more tracking and experiences to outdoor activities.

Huawei has recently launched the Watch GT 7 Pro in its official VMall outlets in three color choices: Pine Green, Wild Yellow and Carbon Black.

Watch GT 7 Pro Price

The three variants are all priced at 2,688 yuan in the official stores of Huawei. The effective price can be reduced to 2,285 yuan by Chinese consumers who can avail a government subsidy.

Watch GT 7 Pro will also be launched globally next week, and Huawei will probably showcase its new sports capabilities among other products at the next international launch of the company.

High-quality Design and Display

Watch GT 7 Pro is positioned as one of the flagship wearables of Huawei in the year. It has a 1.47-inch screen with a colorful vertical chronograph-style bezel.

Huawei has constructed the smartwatch with nano-microcrystalline ceramic and aerospace-grade titanium alloy, which makes the smartwatch have a high-end construction to ensure that the device is durable and at the same time have a high-end look.

The screen is capable of reaching 3,000 nits of brightness, which means that the content can be seen even in the bright sunlight.

Battery Life of up to 21 days

Another key characteristic of the Watch GT 7 Pro is battery life. Huawei boasts that the smartwatch has a battery life of up to 21 days with light use, and up to 12 days with normal use.

The battery has a maximum of 51 hours when used in trail-running mode, which provides outdoor users with a longer operating time when performing long activities.

Fitness and Health Tracking

Health management is also a major focus of the Watch GT 7 Pro. The smartwatch integrates the measurements of sleep quality scores, heart-rate variability (HRV), mood and calorie data to determine the daily health and recovery of the user.

According to these measurements, the device classifies the overall health condition of a user into five levels, which are excellent, good, moderate, low and requiring attention.

As sales are already being made in China and a global launch is imminent, the Watch GT 7 Pro will be one of the most important smartwatch products that Huawei offers in the global market.
