The Google I/O will be the launch platform for all new devices on May 10th. The Google Pixel 7a will be the only one of the new devices to go on sale immediately after the launch and will therefore be available from May 11, 2023.
The entry-level price of the new Google Pixel 7a, which is said to be equipped with the same Google Tensor G2 octa-core SoC as the Pixel 7 Pro, will start with an official retail price of 499 US dollars. This increases the price by $50 compared to the direct predecessor, the Pixel 6a. It remains to be seen whether and how much the price will also rise in Europe.
If you want to own the new Google Pixel Fold, the Internet group’s first smartphone with a foldable display, you’ll obviously have to dig a lot deeper into your pockets: Google wants to call a whopping 1799 US dollars for the basic model with 256 GB of internal flash memory.
For the time being, Google’s folding smartphone will probably remain an absolute niche product. In this case, availability should only be given from the end of June. The device is said to be available in the US from June 27, 2023. It is unclear when the folding smartphone will start in Europe.
The Google Pixel Tablet will be available in a total of four colors, and the scope of delivery always includes a corresponding dock.
