All You Need To Know About Poco M4 Pro 5G Smartphone

After many rumors and teasers a few weeks ago, the M4 Pro 5G is here, the Xiaomi subsidiary brand Poco is bringing a new mid-range smartphone onto the market, with which they want to offer the best possible features at an affordable price. However, Poco uses a well-known tactic.

The Poco M4 Pro 5G is a lower mid-range device that is available for prices starting at just under 230 euros and already offers 5G support at this very low price. This is made possible by the MediaTek Dimensity 810 Octacore SoC, in which two high-end cores work at 2.0 GHz, while the other six energy-saving cores clock at 1.8 GHz.

6.67 inches Screen, Full HD Plus and 90Hz

The display of the M4 Pro 5G is 6.67 inches and has a pleasantly high resolution of 2400×1080 pixels. It is an IPS display with a hole for the front camera directly in the middle under the upper edge. The panel supports a maximum refresh rate of up to 90 Hertz and has a cover made of Gorilla Glass 3 to protect it from scratches and knocks.

The cameras of the Poco M4 Pro 5G have a resolution of 50 and 8 megapixels, with the main sensor having an F/1.8 aperture, while the second sensor mentioned has ultra-wide-angle optics with a 119-degree field of view and F/2.2 aperture. The front camera offers 16 megapixels.

Additional Features

Additional features include four or six gigabytes of RAM and 64 or 128 GB of UFS 2.2 flash memory. NFC, Bluetooth 5.1 and dual-band WiFi are also on board. The fingerprint reader sits on the side, as an LCD is used here. The battery of the M4 Pro 5G is 5000mAh and can be charged to 80 percent of its capacity within an hour using a 33-watt power adapter.

On the subject of well-known tactics: The Poco M4 Pro 5G is basically nothing more than a relabeled Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 5G. Xiaomi actually offers the same smartphone under two names with a slightly different design on the back in the same markets.
