India Gets the New Tecno Spark 8 with 3GB of RAM

Tecno has just released the Tecno Spark 8 in India. It’s an overhauled variant of the previous Spark 8 launched in September and carries better specs and price tag.

The New Spark 8

The new model features an octa-core MediaTek Helio G25 gaming SoC and ships with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. It carries a price tag of INR 9,299 in India. It’s available in Turquoise Cyan, Iris Purple, and Atlantic Blue color options. The rest of the features of the device remains the same.

The Old Spark 8

The previous variant features a MediaTek Helio A25 SoC and 2GB RAM.

Techno Spark 8 – Specifications

The smartphone sports a 6.56-inch HD+ (720×1,612 pixels) resolution and supports a 20.15:9 aspect ratio. The device offers a peak brightness of 480 nits.

It also features a dual rear camera setup with a 16MP f/1.8 aperture and an AI camera with f/2.0 aperture. Features of the rear camera include Slow Motion, Panorama, Time-lapse, Filters, AR Shot, HDR, AI Portrait, Smile Shot, and AI Beauty features.

Users of the new model can expand storage up to 256GB via a microSD card slot. Connectivity-sie, the smartphone offers a 3.5mm headphone jack, Micro-USB, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, and 4G LTE. Some useful sensors found on the Tecno handset include a proximity sensor, ambient light sensor, and accelerometer.

The Tecno Spark 8 also comes with a 5,000mAh battery and runs on Android 11 with HiOS v7.6 on top.
