It can be accessed for $0.006 per minute.

Besides this, the company unveiled that Speak [language learning app] is already utilizing the Whisper API. Furthermore, the company has upgraded the API terms of service. Thus, offering more data security and privacy. The company states that any data submitted via API won’t be used by the company to improve the service. It is upon organizations that choose to share their data for training the model or for other uses. Furthermore, for API users the company has introduced a default 30-day data preservation policy. Likewise, developers are presented with “options for stricter retention” based on their requirements.

The company stated in a blog post that the company believes that AI is full of opportunities. It can provide merely everyone with economic empowerment. The company added that one of the best ways to ensure this is by providing the access to everyone.
