For the past few years, the South Korean conglomerate Samsung hasn’t debuted a new charger with its smartphones. It was anticipated that the company would go with the same approach with its upcoming Galaxy S24 series. According to some recent pieces of information, the company can offer several new chargers with the forthcoming phones.
The recent information comes from Roland Quandt, a journalist at WinFuture. He shared the recent news on X (formerly Twitter). According to details, the company is expected to debut two new chargers. One of them is reportedly the Samsung Charger Duo 50W. It will come with two USB-C ports that will support fast wired charging.
Secondly, it is assumed that the company will offer an upgraded version of the recent 45W charger. Thus, those hoping for 65W, 80W, or even 100W of speed out of the Galaxy S24 series would be extremely let down. It goes without saying that we do not anticipate Samsung including chargers in the Galaxy S24 series phone bundle. However, we anticipate that the new 45W charger in particular will outperform the prior model in terms of cost, performance, temperature, and/or form factor.
In addition to this, it appears like the base Galaxy S24 might not be taking advantage of the new updated 45W charger since it will come with support for 25W charging. Things will become clear with time.
