Amazon is announcing six new free games and plenty of in-game content for August that will be available exclusively to Prime customers. Includes StarCraft Remastered and Zak McKracken. Our overview shows all the titles, new loot, and twitch drops for the next month.
If Amazon had made a big splash around Prime Day in July, August will return to the traditional number of just six free titles. Players will take advantage of the recently announced partnership between the online retailer and Blizzard Entertainment for the first time. With Starcraft Remastered, the publisher provides a new edition of the strategy classic in the Prime Gaming library that is already five years old, but provides a surplus value of about 15 euros.
Also included is the classic point-and-click adventure Zak McKracken and the Alien Mindbenders alongside the more or less well-known indie titles Beasts of Maravilla Island, Recompile, ScourgeBringer and Family Mysteries: Poisonous Promises. In the coming month, Amazon will also be focusing on the Call of Duty League, which will host its Championship Weekend from August 4-7. In line with this, various content for CoD Warzone and Vanguard can be retrieved.
Some of the in-game loot announced today is already available on the Prime Gaming website. Includes new drops for World of Warcraft (WoW), Lost Ark, Overwatch, Apex Legends, FIFA 22, Destiny 2, and Grand Theft Auto 5 (GTA Online). Packs for New World, Elder Scrolls Online, Red Dead Online, and Dead by Daylight will also be added later in August. As usual, a direct link to the game account and Prime Gaming is required.
