New Star Wars Andor Trailer Goes Official

Disney has released a new trailer for the Star Wars series Andor, which is coming to Disney+ soon. This gives a taste of the fan-expected backstory to the 2016 hit film Rogue One. Small niggle: The series is now starting with a few weeks of delay.

Disney pushes the series to September

The (albeit very brief) dry spell of the Star Wars series at Disney+ will soon be over, albeit a little later than many had last thought: there’s a new trailer for the highly anticipated series, now dating early September 21, 2022. . It was recently said that the prequel to the hit anthology film Rogue One would begin on August 31. As compensation, there will be three episodes in a row on the new date, the other nine episodes will then be handed in weekly.

In addition, the trailer should of course make the fans happy, which could well work, because there are plenty of new images from the series, which of course focus on Cassian Andor (played by Diego Luna) and the burgeoning resistance against the rich. The series begins about five years before the events of Rogue One.

In addition to Cassian, other familiar faces such as Mon Mothma return from the film. What the trailer again clearly shows is the much more serious mood compared to the latest films or series such as The Mandalorian, which had already made a decisive contribution to the success of Rogue One. But the twelve episodes are not the end, because this is only the first part of the series.
