Amazon offers huge discounts on Prime day website crashing
Amazon has started Prime Day (shopping day) in 2015, and by 2017 it became the second biggest shopping day only behind Cyber Monday.
The shopping day lasts for 36 hours, the event was projected to break the previous records this year, the industry analysts estimated the company could generate at least $3.4 billion in sales.
The shopping day just started at 12:00 pm PT which is Monday night 8:00 pm in GMT and 12:00 am Tuesday in PKT.
The 36-hour shopping event has already completed 11 hours of sales, you still have 25 hours to find the best deals on Amazon for you. The event will end on Tuesday 12:00 pm PT, Wednesday 8:00 am GMT and Wednesday 12:00 pm PKT.
However, serious performance issues were reported during the shopping day on Amazon, the service was down due to an unprecedented amount of trafficking on the Amazon’s servers. If you get unresponsive pages on the site, wait and reload, or try back later, Amazon said their developers are continuously working to keep the load optimized.

According to BBC, most of the outages on Amazon site occurred in the US only, however, the issues in other regions including Europe, Africa, South America, Asia, and Russia were also reported.
