AMD Ryzen: Chipset drivers are ready for the next Windows 11 version

AMD is preparing its graphics driver for the release of the next Windows 11 version. The newly released update brings full support for Windows 11 in version 22H2 for the first time. It is not yet clear when Microsoft will release the feature update. According to the information so far, Microsoft plans to release the feature update in September.

So there is still some time until then, but AMD is already here, which also benefits Windows insiders: the company has got its graphics drivers in shape and now offers a first update that fully supports the upcoming version 22H2. This should particularly please gamers among Windows 11 users. The new version number of the AMD Ryzen driver update is 4.08.09.2337. You can find the download at the end of this article and in the WinFuture download section.

We have translated the release notes for you and also included them at the end of this post. According to AMD, there is only one change: support for Windows 11 22H2. More is not mentioned, there are only a few known errors.

Manual installation

The advantage of manually installing the new drivers is that they are readily available. Both Windows 10 and Windows 11 systems generally install the required chipset drivers and their updates independently, but the Windows automatic update feature does not always load the latest available drivers. Information on the supported chipsets and processors is available at AMD on a help page.
