An indication of HONOR Magic V2’s global price was given by the CEO

Honor Magic V2 got launched last July in China. The phone debuted internationally at IFA 2023 in Berlin. More on why it managed to get so much attention will be provided shortly. The phone was unveiled in public, but the manufacturer would not disclose how much it cost. The CEO of the company did, however, provide a pricing indication for the Honor Magic V2’s price.

However, this was not the case throughout the event. When we arrived, the cost was not disclosed. It took place “on the sidelines of the event,” according to GSM Arena. According to reports, George Zhao stated that the Magic V’s price tag serves as a solid benchmark for the Magic.

The Honor Magic Vs did, in fact, go on sale in February for €1,599 for the model with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. There was just one model announced. Therefore, the Magic V2 can have the same price or a price that is comparable to it.

However, we are still unsure about its arrival date. We’d like to think it will happen this year, but given the Magic V launch window, Q1 2024 is also a possibility. However, the Magic V debuted in China in November and in international markets in February; as a result, the Magic V2 should be released in international markets before the end of this year. We shall see.

Phone’s design

In any case, the Magic V2 is a true powerhouse, but its features are not what make it so appealing. Its design is what draws most people in. When folded, the device feels like a standard phone in your hand. Not only does it weigh 231 grams, which is comparable to some current standard, non-folding flagships, but it is also 9.9mm thick when folded.

The gadget has 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 flash storage in addition to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SOC. Additionally, the phone comes with a 5,000mAh battery and enables 66W wired charging.

A 50-megapixel ultrawide camera supports a 50-megapixel primary camera (OIS, Laser AF). There is also a 20-megapixel telephoto camera with a 2.5x optical zoom and OIS. Additionally included in the bundle are two 120Hz monitors and a side-facing fingerprint scanner.
