Android 14 will be coming to these Xiaomi devices

Google launched Android 14 for Pixel devices yesterday. We all anticipated that it would initially only be available on Pixel phones before spreading to other manufacturers. Nevertheless, some of Xiaomi’s phones are already receiving Android 14, according to the Android Authority. Even though this is the case, there can be a small catch.

Other businesses will imitate Google’s delivery of the most recent Android version throughout the next few months. Samsung is typically the first of the third-party vendors to release the latest version. As we all anticipated, Samsung should have better results next year.

Xiaomi will launch Android 14 on phones but with a catch

There isn’t a huge list of devices Android 14 is launching on. Along with the company’s latest flagship headset, the Xiaomi 12, Xiaomi 13 Pro, and Xiaomi 12T are on the list. We’re not sure if this list will expand or not.

  • For the Xiaomi 13, we have MIUI-V14.0.5.0.UMCMIXM and MIUI-V14.0.5.0.UMCEUXM.
  • Xiaomi 13 Pro has the numbers MIUI-V14.0.5.0.UMBMIXM and MIUI-V14.0.5.0.UMBEUXM.
  • Xiaomi 12T, we have MIUI-V14.0.6.0.ULQMIXM and MIUI-V14.0.5.0.ULQEUXM.

There aren’t many modifications to the software in terms of changes. We may anticipate some cosmetic changes and improved features. Other than that, you can anticipate a routine encounter.

What then is the catch?

This isn’t a deal-breaker by any means. However, if you intend to be an early adopter, bear that in mind. Although Xiaomi claims that this is the most stable version of the software, it may not actually be. According to the business, “Xiaomi continues to work on the development and testing processes to ensure that users are able to use this new version without any issues.”

This almost gives the impression that you are receiving a beta version of the program rather than the finished, stable version.
