Android WebView is crashing, Google is fixing

For some Android users, a few Android aren’t working. Google is fixing it. The issue is due to the Android System WebView.

WebView lets Android apps display web content. But the app is facing some issues. After posting complaints, Google informed:

We are aware of an issue with WebView causing some apps on Android to crash for some users,

We are currently working to fully validate the scope and a fix is in progress.

Some Android users said that by removing the latest WebView, the issue would be resolved. Samsung Support US also tweeted:

If you are facing the same, you could follow Samsung’s recommendation or wait till Google resolves the issue.
