Apple introduced the new Mac Studio with M2 Max and M2 Ultra chips at WWDC

In addition to the new Mac Pro, the Cupertino-based tech company has introduced a new Mac Studio. It is the second generation of the Mac Studio that features M2 Max and M2 Ultra chips.

The M2 Ultra chip is basically a doubled-up M2 Max chip. It consists of a 24-core CPU, a 32-core Neural Engine, and a 76-core GPU. Furthermore, it also features 192GB of unified memory. According to the company, the new Mac Studio with the M2 Ultra chip is three times faster. It is comparatively much faster than the previous-generation Mac Studio introduced in 2022 which features the M1 Ultra chip.

When it comes to the design of the Mac Studio, the new model has entirely the same design as the original model. However, it features a high bandwidth HDMI port that supports 8k displays at 240Hz. On the back, the Mac Studio features four Thunderbolt 4 ports, a 10 Gigabit Ethernet port, an HDMI port, and two USB-A ports. Whereas two USB-C ports and an SD card slot are provided on the front.

The newest MacBook Pro and Mac mini models, along with the new Mac Pro, now enable faster Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3.
