Apple iPad Pro 2018 and Apple MacBook Air specifications and prices

Apple has launched its new Apple iPad Pro 2018 and Apple MacBook Air along with some other products during its launch event held yesterday in New York City.

Earlier, it was reported that Apple iPad Pro 2018 will come with virtually no bezels along with some other features including 4K video output via USB-C port, Face ID to unlock and no home button. Well that’s true, Apple has integrated some interesting features in iPad Pro, and we will look into more details below:

Apple iPad Pro Variants

Apple has launched the product in two variants, 11-inch and 12.9-inch models, both of the models are without bezels, the models are apparently much smaller and thinner than their predecessors.

As Apple said the 12.9-inch model is almost the same size of A4 paper, the new iPads are 5.9mm thick only which are 15% slimmer than before.

A12X Bionic Processor

Apple’s A12X Bionic processor powers up the iPad Pros making them faster than before, the processing power has been increased just like Apple XS Max which was declared the fastest phone in benchmark score testing.

Face ID

Apple ditches fingerprint scanner in favor of Face ID in both iPad pros, Apple has also given up the top notch and used thin bezel in order to accommodate Face ID components, Face ID integration also made it possible to bring Animoji and Memoji to iPad for the first time.

Apple Pencil wireless charging

Apple has also improved Apple Pencil, now you don’t need to plug the Pencil directly into the iPad to get it charged rather the Pencil can be attached to the tablet magnetically and charged wirelessly.

New Smart Keyboard

Apple has also upgraded Smart Keyboard and the new name is Smart Keyboard Folio, the keyboard allows iPad to work on two different typing angles and its priced at $179.

Apple iPad Pro 2018 would be available from November 7, 2018, in two colors Silver and Gray from Apple stores in the United States and 40 more countries, the iPads would be rolled out to 18 other countries including India later.
