Apple is stating its Independent Repair Provider program in India, which would offer repair providers access to genuine parts, tools, repair manuals, and diagnostics for out-of-warranty repairs. Apple users wouldn’t have to worry anymore about their broken devices. The program starts next week.
This new program by Apple program would give small repair businesses access to the same Apple-genuine parts, training, and resources as Apple authorized service providers. This means that users will not have to go to authorized Apple repair centres.
However, this program doesn’t apply to phones with valid warranties. And in particular, out-of-warranty problems like screen replacements or cracked backs on iPhones or iPad could be repaired under this program.
Those who want to work under this program, they’ll get access to free training from Apple and the same genuine parts, tools, repair manuals, and diagnostics as Apple Authorized Service Providers (AASPs) and Apple Store locations.
The good thing about this program is that there is no joining cost, as informed. Qualifying repairers would be able to buy genuine Apple parts and tools at the same price as AASPs.
